2. Principles for the processing of personal data
Axone Pharma recognizes the importance of data protection and privacy of personal data of its customers and website visitors. Therefore, it will treat the personal data of data subjects with due caution. It explicitly confirms that all personal data will be processed in accordance with both the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 and the Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter GDPR).
Personal data can be defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"). Axone Pharma considers the personal data collected to be confidential information which it processes only for the purposes specified in this policy and which it will retain for no longer than is necessary for the realization of those purposes.

The data subject has at all times the possibility to exercise his/her rights as described in the General Data Protection Regulation. The data subject can exercise the following rights:
- Right to information
The data subject has always the possibility to request all personal data collected (including processing purposes, categories of personal data, estimated retention period) for inspection.
- Right to rectification
The data subject always has the possibility to have incorrect personal data corrected.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
If the data subject wishes his or her personal data to be deleted, the data subject can always contact Axone Pharma to request the deletion of personal data by a simple, free request. The data subject acknowledges that, if the personal data is not provided or erasure is requested, Axone Pharma will not be able to provide the services.
- Right to object
The data subject may object to the processing of personal data. Note that the data subject does not have the right to object to the processing of his/her personal data if such personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract between Axone Pharma and the data subject or the data subject's company (for example: for invoicing the data subject or the data subject's company ...).
- Right to restriction of processing
In certain cases, the data subject has the right to obtain the restriction of the processing of his or her personal data.
- Right to data portability
The data subject has the right to receive the personal data concerning him, processed by Axone Pharma, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to transmit that data to another controller.

Axone Pharma refrains from disclosing personal data of the data subject to third parties and from publicly disclosing the personal data of data subjects. Personal data of data subjects will only be disclosed to third parties or external parties provided that the consent of the data subjects has been obtained.
Axone Pharma recognizes that the protection of personal data is an essential part of data protection. If it is impossible to fully guarantee security, Febelco will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.
3. Changes to our privacy policy
We may change this privacy policy from time to time. We will do this by posting the updated version on the Axone Pharma website. When we post changes to our policy, we will change the date and version number of the "last update" to our privacy policy. Significant changes will be reported on our homepage. Nevertheless, we encourage you to read our privacy policy regularly.
